A horrific domestic attack has left the community of Mpumelelo, near Pietermaritzburg, reeling after a woman allegedly set a residential home ablaze, killing her ex-boyfriend and his new partner in a targeted arson attack.
The suspect, Nelisiwe Zililo, has been officially arrested and charged with double murder, attempted murder, and arson. She appeared briefly before the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate’s Court and remains remanded in custody pending formal bail proceedings.
